Hi, I'm liquidating a ton of stuff from 70 years in business and have (among other things) a new in box 3FP7 U.S. Navy surplus scope CRT dated August 1945.

It's a National Union Radio tube and it's in its sealed box (original staples in place).

What's fair, if there is such a thing... :D

Depends on what uses it and how much desirability it's uses have. Being a scope tube (more specifically I believe P7 is a Radar phosphor) it's worth a good bit less than a TV CRT. There are some people who restore tube era scopes (most people want later solid state scopes at oldest, and prefer digital scopes) but I have no clue how many or what they would value them at...If it's radar and not oscilloscope then there could be no market for it. Nobody is going to maintain 40s era radar gear for actual serious use, there might be a few military vehicles in functional museum piece quality that might have had period radar rebuilt and working, but that market has to make TV collectors look huge as a group...
If it were mine I'd probably list it at $60 OBO and take the first $10 someone offered.

Thanks Tom. It is a radar phosphor AFAIK, but I thought they could be used in scopes? I know a lot of people also make cool things like digital clocks out of them.

In any case, if anyone the Connecticut area would like it for just the asking, message me and stop by. If no one wants it, maybe I'll make a clock out of it!

Yeah, for sure people making clocks will have some interest; granted for people making the vector ones. Some love rare phosphours. I already made one vector clock, using the 5UP1.

I know this is a dual phosphor, so it should be interesting to play with. I'm pretty sure I have at least one more in case anyone wants this one.
