This is the only TV I picked up at the 2023 spring swapmeet auction. The label on the 16AP4 CRT stated it had recently been tested and had 0 emissions. Even so I like the early sets so decided to bid on it. Only one other bidder and I won it for $80.

It filled up most of my Honda HR-V which limited my ability to purchase more sets. Maybe that's a good thing :scratch2:

Once back home, I was able to coax some emissions out of it, but still in the red. It has been sitting in my garage for the past two months.
Much to my surprise I was contacted by another collector a few days ago with an offer to donate a good 16AP4. It was very well packed and arrived without a scratch.

Sure enough, it tests good. These CRTs are only 54 degree deflection and quite long.
I hope to muscle the set inside next weekend with the help of a friend. It is quite a beast! Then, I'll finally get a closer look at it.
