I dug this out this weekend and first found a Shango vid about it. His had a dead CRT so I gave mine a go. No idea where I got it or when. Shelf queen for a long time.

It lit and with a balun was making a pic. The CRT came up but seems a bit tired. Focus is soft but better with a few minutes of use. Only power to the CRT is the filament and the cathode. All grids go to ground. The DC restoration is awful. High to low contrast scene by scene. Not bad though for a 1975 Sony BW. So 70's styling. It stays in my 70's BW collection. Sams 1466/2. Is there a focus adjust?

The diagram shows no adjustment for the focus pin, number 7.

Even when these little JA B&W's had focus controls it barely made
improvement. Its a soft CRT. If you turn down the brite & contrast
it usually gets much sharper.
