I've posted a couple of times about this television before, and thankfully obtained a service manual. But I am not confident enough in my repair abilities to try fixing this television again. I've had it apart a handful of times but, I lack the equipment and knowhow to work on something of this nature.

I own an RCA PFR-100 television that I bought back in june of 2020, It's had some problems and as of right now, I am unable to use it because of power supply issues (I guess a loose solder joint somewhere, after it warms up it just switches off, Using precussive maintainence tactics can get it to switch back on but, at that point it becomes television abuse haha) and the picture is dim on the left side of the screen. Or right side of the raster pattern on the CRT, Which I'm led to believe that it's capacitor issues.

I do own a van, and can transport the television to anyone who's willing to take a look at it, I'm really proud of this television and would love to be able to use it as my main livingroom TV.

Pictures attatched

Unlike the big-box rear-projection ones, front-projection TV sets like your RCA are the "cool" ones still. I wish you luck getting help with it.

PGR100, That sounds interesting. I might be able to make the trip if need be, Just gotta plan out a day-or-two trip.

What scares me is there is a bottle of windex next to it.
You all might advise on use of cleaners.
Some mirrors as I recall windex may take the
Reflective surface of the glass.

At least the mirror is easily replaceable, unlike the screen.

You have any in good shape? Might try to buy one off of ya' if I can, Mine's missing some of the reflective coating unfortunately. I looked into maybe repainting it but, Oh well.
