Found this yesterday at Kutztown for $10. Not much else there of note. Some very tired BW sets and one Zenith roundie. A working Predicta pedestal did sell at the auction for $400. This is a no frills 13" BW with a carry handle. A cleaning of the dust and a DeOxit shot or two did the trick. Came to life looking fine with a strong CRT and great focus. Acts like all tubes but I did not open the back.

That PHILCO-FORD was a nice one to take home Dave:thmbsp:, considering lack of TV there I witnessed Saturday. I saw a Dumont RA-103 12" table model marked down to $40, but then they bugged out by noon.

Nice to be seeing more TVs there lately, although they were pretty thin this time around. Think there weren't too many more than a dozen or so in total. I kinda felt bad for that Zenith roundie that stayed both days. Nice louvered console stereo with it got whisked away Friday afternoon, I think. Too bad - they made a nice pair.
I had a close call with a nice-looking '70s XL-100 Mural TV that claimed a dim raster when last used about 6 months ago. Got fired up at the show and HV was arcing. Since I still don't know my way around the inside of a set, I had to nope out of it. Consoled myself by buy-it-nowing a clock radio Watchman instead. Little quicker and I could've had a whole group of Watchmen.

Looks nice. I like collecting those tube portables made around that time I've got two Philco Ford sets I've had since the mid 90's. One is a 1967 Pacer 19" and the other one is a 1969 17".
Is yours US made or is it made in Taiwan? My 1969 set was made in Taiwan.
If you are going to order tubes for anything in the future you might want to go through the tube list. If it has a chassis like mine there's a few oddball tubes in there that aren't common in your average tube collection. I think they are 3 or 4 volt filiments and are for the audio preamp or output.
Not a rare tube but more just a odd heater voltage that and nice to have on hand should it go bad rather than shipping one in.
