I took not-so-short hiatus from TV collecting, but it seems that I'm getting back in the game. Nice sets just keep popping up and I have no self control and always end up saving them. I'm glad to be seeing some familiar names still here, and I'm looking forward to having more vintage TV discussions. Here are a few sets that I've saved recently.

Good to hear your doing well enough to collect again... I've hit the point where I have to sell to buy more or implement a 1 in 1 out policy...
If it wasn't for the darn chirona virus I probably would have a job and a house by now and would have fixed my space issues.

Last image on right.

The RCA on the left with a bottle on top is identical to the TV my father bought in 1970~71. I believe he paid $250.00 for it because it was NOS, so I was told.

Welcome back...

Welcome back!

Is the Oriental styled one a CTC-21?

I try to get out and the p u l l me back in! Welcome back.

The colortrack 19" on your RCA roundie, is a heavy sucker. I lugged more than a few of those into the shop when I was a HS junior-tech :)

I agree that Black lacquer oriental is a looker!

Keep your sights out for an early 1970-71 Zenith Chromacolor TV-Their extremely rare unlike a 1974-78 Zenith Chromacolor II. For a 1970-71 Zenith Chromacolor, look for a delta-gun black matrix CRT as these early Chromacolors are not marked Chromacolor, just Zenith on the front panel and were usually a floor model with at first, a 23-inch CRT for 1970 and a 25 inch CRT for the 1970-71 model year.

This is a 1970-71 rare first generation Zenith Chromacolor with the $ervice $aver chassis which would have been with some tubes and early 25-inch black matrix CRT. Just got it today :-)
