A few weeks ago the flyback in my rca ctc 35 arched out and failed. Attempts to repair it by removing the tire, cleaning and then re-siliconing were unsuccessful. Anyway, so I am seeking a replacement flyback for this set. There is a flyback from a ctc 25 that might be available from another collector. The number on the RCA ctc 35 fly is # 906170-504 / 2746736-34.
Other information that I have gathered is the part numbers for this might be 115876, 114704 or a fly 308.

It's unlikely to work as a drop in replacement as RCA liked to redesign their HV system for each new chassis number....Heck even the CTC-16 and CTC-16XL had different flybacks from each other.
What I would do in your shoes, if desperate, is to get the schematics for both chassis and compare the HV sections and the windings available on each. It might be possible to modify the HV in your set to match the circuit for that flyback (signal windings for osc feedback, color burst gating and AGC are also critical). There's a chance I might have Sam's for both sets to compare but my collection is spotty above 600 so I wouldn't count on me having either...

The CTC17, 21, 25, 28, 30, and 35 all used the 115876 flyback.

Wow, I guess their design must have stabilized after they went to rectangular...

Sort of, the CTC24, 31, 38, and early 39s (the chassis full of 6GH8s!) all used the 119834. The 19 inch CTC19 and 27 used different flybacks.

Interesting. So the CTC-20, since it was a roundie, probably used the same fly as the '16. Just guessin'.

The schematics for both are on the ETF color tv technical info page to compare.
I had a 16 and a 20 come in for repair and the client wanted me to look into flyback compatibility IIRC they were different parts with different winding arrangements.
