Hi. I have a 1990 RCA XL-100 13" Color TV. The model number is E1315WN. The CRT is worn out. Does anyone know the CRT number, so I could try to find another CRT?

There should be a label on the side giving you the manufacturer, part number, etc. RadioTVNut00 12-24-2019, 03:54 PM No. I'm just worried that I'll get shocked old_tv_nut 12-24-2019, 06:02 PM You will not get shocked if it's unplugged and you look without touching. There will be no residual charge if it has been sitting turned off/unplugged for weeks or more. MadMan 12-24-2019, 10:56 PM Getting shocked by a crt is harmless. It hurts a lot for a split second, but otherwise completely harmless. WISCOJIM 12-25-2019, 09:23 AM Hi. I have a 1990 RCA XL-100 13" Color TV. The model number is E1315WN. The CRT is worn out. The worse danger is the nasty cut that you might get when you react to the shock , , you get zapped , freak out and pull your hand back out of the TV at 100MPH , and get sliced on some protruding edge of sheetmetal or such and get a few stitches & a nasty scar for your efforts . Of course , a quick search here of "How to discharge a CRT" will produce an almost* foolproof method of insuring you never get to feel the juice . * I say "Almost" because just as soon as ya go and declare something 100% great and totally foolproof , someone comes along and creates a greater fool .....
