I’m looking for a good frequency counter for radio applications mostly. What’s your opinion on this counter? Should I find something better? I know very little about them.

I have a Radio Shack 22-305. That's a handheld unit that goes up to 1 GHz. It uses 4 AA batteries. Works well. I see them on Ebay. kf4rca 09-17-2019, 09:51 AM Stay away from OptoElectronics. They use an op-amp that you can't get anymore. If you're in to DIY, there are some great deals on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1MHz-1-1GHz-1Hz-50MHz-Crystal-Oscillator-Tester-Frequency-Counter-Meter-DIY-Kits/202545100774?hash=item2f28a0f7e6:m:mMJth5vWtPgT-i5rjp42P5w |
