What do y'all think this guy is? I say CTC-16.

Picking up tomorrow on the local Sacramento CL.

Either a 16 or more likely a CTC-20 given the single knob tuner. The CTC-20 was RCAs last roundy so it is quite collectible despite being full of 6GH8s.

If the fine tuning and channel knobs are plastic, it's a 20. The 16's had metal knobs. Also, if you look at the back, the 16's have a video peaking switch and the 20's used a pot.

Good to know. I'll probably be picking up tomorrow. It's been a long while since I played with crt TV's. The last 10 years I have been repairing flat panel televisions. Probably repaired at least 300 or so. I have gotten pretty good at Board level repairing on these and including removing LCD panels to replace LED backlighting assemblies, repairing sustain boards and buffer boards in plasmas. So getting back into an old tube TV should be a treat although still trying to figure out what's going on with the Zenith but I've had sitting for 10 years in my other post
