I made the decision that I was going...put in to get that Friday off but somebody with seniority already grabbed it :(

I really, really want to do this. Flights are complicated but hopefully I can make it happen.

I'm a new member and just sent in my check for ETF membership and 2019 convention registration. Looking forward to meeting everyone and taking in all the sights and sounds.

For me this will be a long and expensive trip, with no possibility of bringing back many goodies (just a big suitcase). I'm about 80% convinced to go, but not really sure what to expect. The agenda on the ETF site isn't very specific.

Definitely worth it just to see the museum and all the operating sets. The convention is icing on the cake, meeting other enthusiasts, and listening to the presentations, which are always interesting. So, maybe you won't want to make the long trip every year, but do it while you can!
