I was recently scanning some old family photos and came across this beauty! Does anyone out there know the make and model of this bad boy?

A close up on that center plate between the knobs might reveal the manufacturer. Looks to be early 50's 21 inch, might be a composite CRT...

The knobs bear a lazy S, and the center cover seems to say something in cursive that starts with S as well. I would say Silvertone, but the word is much shorter. I suppose it could be the model name, not the make. Idk.

Those '53-'54 era console's all look so much alike. It was all about bigger and bigger screens at that time and less adornment.

The knobs sure look like Silvertone knobs.
The logo looks like it could easily be Silvertone as well. It's rather hard to see as the lighting isn't so good.

No way it's a '50. That was the time of the "roundie" CRT's, 10"-12" sizes, and "double-D" masks. This one is classic circa '53.

Silvertone was very popular then because Sears did their own financing.
The also sold cars (Allstate) and pre-fabricated homes.
