I caved in and mined my other Electrohome for its nearly-identical tuner which I really wanted to avoid, but in retrospect I'm pleased with my decision. I kept major parts from the original tuner, and have since found out the Alps tuner that I was using as a temporary substitute is very much the same internally so I should be able to mod it into a bolt-in swap.
