I have a Sony KV-13TR24 (13 inch mono Trinitron from 1990) and while it has a great picture I'm stuck with this green "VIDEO" text over whatever I have plugged in via composite. Is there any way I can turn the text off?

Been years but IIRC press "display" button on hand unit.
Without the right unit it probably is stuck.

Also IIRC this set-up was only used a few years & you cant do a lot
such as channel setup without the right remote. All the remotes were
subbed to a monster remote that went for $80 ! To get the ORIGINAL
find the "RM###" number & look on E-Bay. Number is on old one
& in service manual.

I actually just got the correct remote (RM-781) in the mail yesterday from eBay so that I could finally adjust the picture! Thanks for that, I'd never have figured it out on my own.
