It's well made with a beefy power transformer.

It covers VHF, UHF and cable channels and 45MHz IF frequencies with a variety of test patters and several test tones.

Did you get the manual or any of Sencore's Tech notes? They had a whole series of them for the VG91 - the tech notes were custom for TV Servicing, MATV/CATV head end, and Studio/Field broadcast setups. They used them to "sell" the VG91 to as many industries as they could. The TV studio on my last carrier had one, never used it, preferring a Sony generator that was part of one of the camera units.

I may have them in PDF, lemme check my older hard drives. I downloaded a ton of Sencore stuff back in the 1998-2000 timeframe as I had a Verizon supported T1 line in my office with just 3 other computers sharing it. :D

All I got was the little guide in a sliding drawer under the unit. I found another 6 page guide online: http://www.broadcaststore.com/pdf/model/793698/TT214%20-%205283.pdf

That is a nice-looking device to find. You cannot have too many test instruments.

I can't speak for him, but for me it's a team effort: Smith, and Wesson, and I. :D

(No, not really. :))
