Username1 04-15-2015, 04:20 PM I wonder if those tvs are in storage somewhere in the country....... Did you hear
that most of the set from Gone with the Wind the building is in storage
in Ga....... In a barn no less.....
.
Electronic M 04-15-2015, 04:28 PM I doubt it is a Zenith. In the roundy era most Zeniths had the pencil box as a small door on the bottom of the set below the tuner, and the control panels looked different.
I'd be more inclined to think Admiral or maybe Sylvania based on the controls.
Olorin67 04-15-2015, 11:00 PM I used to watch that show mostly for the vintage Mopars, Seems most old shows had either Ford (like Perry mason) or Chrysler vehicles
centralradio 04-16-2015, 05:23 PM I love Beverly Hillbillies .I have the collection here.
I do remember the episode of granny looking at this TV.I cant recall which season it was on.
Those sets are probably in somebodies collection along with the Mission Impossible recorders.
Last week I was reading about some of the original Star Trek and TNG.movie props were auctioned off years ago.I would love to get my hands on one of those communicators or phasers.Probably the same with those TV's and props from Beverly Hillbillies.
David Roper 04-16-2015, 05:40 PM CTC-15. One among us has that model (http://videokarma.org/showthread.php?p=3102391#post3102391).

Imports aside, The Brady Bunch had everything but Ford vehicles. This changed in the movie with the addition of a Mercury Montego wagon.
Coincidentally, my mom is watching The Beverly Hillbillies as I type.
Olorin67 04-20-2015, 08:07 PM there's one really cheesy 50's sci fi movie out there where most of the vehicles, including a police car, are 1956 Studebakers

Remember the episode where Greg bought a 56 Chevy Convertible for something like $50 and thought he got taken. :D
Sandy G 04-20-2015, 08:34 PM What I remember about "The Brady Bunch" is how BAD I had it for Marcia, & reading about it later, it was AMAZING it came off as well as it did-Sherwood Schwartz & Bob Reed-Mr Brady- were apparently at each other's throats pretty much constantly. He apparently LOVED the kids, tho, & was VERY protective of them all.

$50 was what he ended up getting for it from the junkyard. ;) I'd say that's when he got taken.
"It's kind of an old model". Haha.

I assume it was Sherwood Schwartz who loved the kids. Considering what I heard of the DVD commentary they didn't think much of Robert Reed. Also, I heard that he wanted nothing to do with comedy scenes, so it was extra funny when cousin Oliver made him slip and crush a model he made for his work.
mstaton 04-21-2015, 07:35 AM 1963 RCA CTC-15. Damen has that exact set

DavGoodlin 04-27-2015, 01:32 PM Thanks guys, this was bothering me since I took the screen shot.
It was not of the Christmas episode and I SWEAR that was a Zenith starfish knob, offset as some of them were.
That is a real sweatheart set Damen.
