Looks like an asian made set to me.

Almost sure its a Jap set. Of those NOT a Sony or toshiba,
could be most any other.

I'm guessing Panasonic, it looks very similar to the sets in these 1967 & 1968 Panasonic ads.

That panasonic (second picture) in the ad Eric posted is a beauty in my opinion. Sure would love to find that model today!

Panny a good theory. I dont remember the controls at top,
usually had ganged pots under tuners then. The shafts
always pulled out when old. RCA 14" had top knobs but didnt
match otherwise. Could also be a store brand panny built set.

Trying to remember! Didn't the cover that said "Panacolor", slide to the left, to expose the auxiliary controls, such as color, tint, brightness and contrast.

It looks similar to the 1971 Panasonic "Luray" AN-239D. :scratch2: I've also seen similar Sharp portables used in the USA, from the late 1960s/early 1970s with a tube-hybrid chassis.

I think that is an "Elsa" TV and the kitty in the photo is the father. (LOL). If the shot was about 30 feet closer we might be zero in a little closer on the details.
