Does anyone have a working MII deck they would part with for cheap? My local Broadcast Pioneers need a deck for a bunch of tapes they need to xfer for the website.

Chip Chester 08-06-2014, 09:29 AM Sold (for actual money) the last two I had about 6 years ago to the CONUS broadcast folks (of satellite uplink fame.) They were engaged in a similar mass-transfer project. Scripps-Howard TV stations were big users back in the day, so your local outlet may have one lurking in a corner. I can make some inquiries to some regional independent post houses, on your behalf, if you PM me contact details. These would be folks I know who had them about, and may be inclined to divest. I would be a contact liaison only -- no financial interest... I might have some manuals around here somewhere, too. Let me know... Chip Dave A 08-06-2014, 10:59 PM Chip, perfect. PM to be sent with contact info. I am in Philadelphia. And I have to check our NBC O&O to see if they may have one stashed. NBC was big in MII also. We do have a nonworking deck for parts. mpatoray 09-10-2014, 01:09 PM What model do you have, I have an almost complete set of board spares form a 62H player. I do also have a 65H edit recorder in working condition, but not looking to sell. I am in Ohio |
