Thanks! 7M50 is a Motorola production code date. July, 1950. Sams, really pulled a boner, when they re-listed the Motorola model and chassis numbers, under Quasar.:thumbsdn: WISCOJIM 07-05-2014, 10:36 AM I have many old Sam's indexes that split them up. Some are still under Motorola, some are under Quasar. I still prefer the paper index, and always have one in the desk drawer next to the computer for quicker reference than using their online finder. "Quasar" chassis TS-101 is in Sam's 122-5 from 1951. . radio nut 07-05-2014, 12:30 PM You can look up Sams numbers by doing a search for model or chassis number on their website: https://www.samswebsite.com/en/photofact/search?s=Search&t=model&o=0&k=ts101&submit=Search Motorola is listed under Quasar in their world. (It is way too big to post on VideoKarma.) I cannot remember where I found this years ago, but it beats the heck out of the official site. If anyone recognizes where this came from, please post a link. James. dieseljeep 07-05-2014, 02:24 PM I have many old Sam's indexes that split them up. It still was a bone-headed stunt on their part to list all the TV and radio model numbers under Quasar. I guess it would've been too much work to separate the two. :sigh: philcophan 07-05-2014, 03:05 PM Try the Universal Schematic Locator... you can find it here: http://plymouthcolony.net/starcity/radios/pages/service.html |
