7M50 is a Motorola production code date. July, 1950.
Sams, really pulled a boner, when they re-listed the Motorola model and chassis numbers, under Quasar.:thumbsdn:

I have many old Sam's indexes that split them up. Some are still under Motorola, some are under Quasar.

I still prefer the paper index, and always have one in the desk drawer next to the computer for quicker reference than using their online finder.

"Quasar" chassis TS-101 is in Sam's 122-5 from 1951.

I tried the Sam's site and came up empty, I did not know about the Quasar thing!

I cannot remember where I found this years ago, but it beats the heck out of the official site. If anyone recognizes where this came from, please post a link.

I think most of the models under "Motorola" were car radios and CB sets.
It still was a bone-headed stunt on their part to list all the TV and radio model numbers under Quasar.
I guess it would've been too much work to separate the two. :sigh:
