Yeah, I'm just not that into Sony sets, but a rare early remote Trinitron would be a keeper. Chances are the remote would be missing or damaged.

Nope, that RM-301 remote has two volume buttons and a single channel button, whereas mine has a single button for volume and separate buttons for VHF and UHF. That set could be the KV-1733R, KV-1930 or KV-1930R. I would guess that it's one of the latter two, hard to peg the screen size.

That is an interesting enough set that if it weren't on on the far end of the country, and the seller was not looking for a high bidder (which is how I usually interpret 'make offer') I'd probably try to buy it.

RM301 used in KV1733R & KV1930R maybe others.
The Craigs list set is an Ecconoquick ( fast warm-up CRT )
& is newer. Its the last generation of SG613 sets.
Very neat modular chassis. I got 21" one at the dump with a vert
problem & ran it a year before selling it for $200. Wish those
days were back.

I opened the remote not that long ago, turns out someone pinched the transducer. Anyone have any idea what would work in this?

It's a RM-204, used with a KV-1520R. The transducer part number is 8-819-100-00, known as a SUC-1 "Speaker"

I have the service lit - 5 frequencies - 41.5Khz, 38.5Khz, 37Khz, 35.5Khz, and 40Khz. On-off is two oscillators working sequentially, 41.5 first, then the 38.5.

Excellent, thanks. I've got to look up that TV later. Would a transducer from a more common RM-302 be the same?

I just looked it up and the RM-204 is different with two volume buttons and a single channel button, not to mention the model number on the remote, weird. They do look very similar though.

I'll keep digging - I've got a bunch of Sony manuals from the 70's.

One thing is for sure - the model number of whatever set it goes to will be suffixed with an "R" - for remote. Sony and RCA were like that.
