I responded to a CL ad, and came home with three cool new sets. Paid $100 for all three. The first is a Predicta Holiday. It appears to be complete except for the antenna. The second is an RCA console 21-T-8427 in a blonde cabinet. Also looks like it's complete. The third is a Philco 50-702 (or 50T702), which is the infamous set that has a design issue where the high voltage drops out after warm up. All of the sets appear to be in pretty good shape. I haven't had a chance to open any of them up to inspect the chassis or test the CRTs, but maybe this weekend....

Yeah, I couldn't pass them up for the price. The only problem is I'm really getting desperate for space....something I'm sure I share with most of the guys here.

Great pickup on the Holiday!! I think I may want a Predicta sometime soon.

Wow, that is an awesome deal! The Predicta and the 7" are the jewels but I really like those RCA consoles from that time period.

Awesome score!!! I love the Philco, its one of the few post 40s sets that I would like to add to my collection. Actually, there are several early 50s, I'd like to add, but my wife would no longer be my wife if I did!!!

Very nice! :thmbsp: I especially like the Philco 7". I think it was the last 7" set made by any manufacturer.

Nice acquisitions! - That's a high dollar term ! You got some nice sets there, and for a reasonable price tag ! I like those blonde cabinets, I would still love to get a nice 17" to 21" floor model and that little Philco looks like a Gem ! May they all have good CRT's !
Good luck to you on them !

Great score. I look forward to the threads.

How do you decide what to work on first? The RCA would probably be the easiest.

Judging by the market, only a fellow enthusiast would offer such a great deal.
