Man, mine has been messed with like a million times. Lots of different value resistors in it, and it's not running on frequency either just like my RCA one. It's strange though, I can get a proper color bar pattern out of this one but the crosshatch and dots function is all screwy. Is there something specific to those functions that would cause them not to work while the color bars are fine? snelson903 02-04-2014, 07:10 PM Thanks for the manual! Is there something specific to those functions that would cause them not to work while the color bars are fine? thats funny you say that mine is doing the same thing, after finding the dead shorted cap, i went ahead and replaced all the ceramic caps. and after that i had a hard time getting the color bar and crosshatch to hold properly as soon as i thought i had it would drift out again ,so i thought before i keep shotgun diagnosing it i would get the right manual for it. when i get done later this week with what im working on now ill look at it again, if you find something let me know to. miniman82 02-06-2014, 09:50 PM Figured it out: my monitor was loading it down too much, causing the problems (I was using the composite output). There was also a slightly noisy color pot I had to clean, but it works great now. I'll post some pics later. |
