I have been watching a really amazing story tonight on pbs, about the different every day items used in the early parts of this century, and how they were actually poisons, and how they killed millions.

When it comes to the pbs station near you, look for American Experience "The Poisoner's Handbook" Also includes the beginnings of CSI type work.... Very interesting....

I caught most of it earlier tonight. Very interesting and entertaining. Tetraethyllead, methanol, thallium, radium etc.
