The tuner on my Delco experimental TV does not have a name brand. But it has these markings:

D443C

It would be nice if I could find a schematic for it, or even what terminals A,B,C,D are. Maybe these numbers could at least date the set. The tuner is rather large and has no channel 1.

It's a Standard Coil, similar to the Admiral tuners. :scratch2:

Warning: do not do any work on that tuner outside of cleaning contacts and changing tubes. Lead dress in TV tuners is extremely critical and should only be messed with as a last LAST resort.

The firm changed their name sometime in 60's Before it was called Standard Coil Products Co. Their EIA code is 305. :yes:

There's a strong possibility, that the set has a 41MHZ if strip.
The 6BQ7A is a direct replacement for the 6BZ7. Standard used both. If the tubes are original, they should be stamped "Standard TV".

Anyone, that has a large knob stash, should have the knobs that you need.
The volume control is probably a contrast control, as well. The smaller shaft is really 3/16". Those knobs are common too.

I've seen a few of those through the years and love the design from a cleaning standpoint.

Are there any size restrictions on the diameter of the knobs? I have a set of four knobs off a Silvertone console that you are welcome to for postage. The outer knobs are 3".
