There's something odd about the set shown at the beginning and end, check out the cutout area above the channel selector, it looks like there's some sort of hood or cover there.
Possibly it was a mock up or a Prototype?

Yeah, that does look weird. Never saw that on a real set.

The sets were cramped, cooked themselves to death, because they had inadequate ventilation.. Now, if Philco had somehow managed to package a color Roundie like that, minus the heating problems, yeah, THEN they might have had something....
