Saw this on TV one afternoon in the early/mid 80s, back when "regular" tv stations used to do such things. I've long wondered about the film, what the title was, etc. What I remember: 2 streetwise women work for this guy who has them plant a bomb at a bank. I don't think they knew it was a bomb. He warns them not to take the subway home, but they do. When the bomb blows it cause a breach that floods the tunnel. Somebody dies on the "third rail" and the kindly engineer, an older black man, also dies. Don't remember what happened after that. Quite possibly I watched this on a GE 'KC' chassis color set with cataracts. Does this jog any memories?

That one is not familiar to me, but when you mentioned "subway" and "streetwise women", I thought right away of the movie "Million Dollar Ripoff" with Freddie Prinze as an electronic whiz who sets up a robbery of the Chicago El system. It was from about 1977, on NBC.

I remember - the KC chassis has the leaded-rubber HV rectifier, right? Or the 3AT2? :D:D

The movie had a definate mid/late-70s look to it. I'm going to plow through the list on that website.

The GE. I wish I had back. The first TV that was all mine. I was just slightly too young to try opening it up, and then it was gone.
