IF anyone it working on a ctc-2 chassis or can get to one easily, I need to know the value of R-181-82 resistors pin 5 and 8 of the h/v transformer, riders and sams say's 4.7k but on my chassis pin 5 resistor, I get no reading and pin 8 reads 470 ohms ?

Attached is the HV Transformer section of the RCA Factory CTC-2 schematic.
The two resistors in question are 4700 ohms. The one connects to pin 5 through a 0.022 capacitor so you will need to read directly across the two resistor wires to get any reading. The other connected to pin 8 is the resistor connecting to the plate of the focus rectifier. Again read the resistors value by connecting directly across the resistor wires.
You should post future question about this set on the Early Color Television Videokarma Forum.
Many people there will be able and willing to offer help and suggestions. This set is one of the darlings of most old color TV guys.
You should also read every page of this link by Pete Dexnis, a former RCA Factory Service Company Engineer, on this set, the Merill CT-100, CTC-2 chassis:

He knows more about this set than most and has restored many of them.
Good luck with your set!
