I just noticed this new offering on our local NBC 5.2 subchannel. Here's their website: http://www.cozitv.com/

Here's a a short list of offerings

Ozzie & Harriet
Six Million Dollar Man
Bionic Woman
Loner Ranger
Roy Rogers Show
Lassie
He-Man and She-Ra: A Christmas Special :)

Same channel here in Dallas 5.2. Time will tell.
I wish they'd make the COZI TV bug a little less bright and more transparent if they must do that.

AntennaTV is the only one that shows clean un-bugged programs. True to the old way, prior to about mid-90s when they all started the ID bug.

Strange that neither of my Zenith converter boxes will tune COZI TV on 5.2, but the main KXAS NBC 5.1 is full scale, no problem, after rescans too. My Dish DTVPal DVRs tune in COZI just fine.

I'd sure like to see some attempt to bring back some Saturday morning cartoons!

COZI TV is not yet available in my area near Cleveland. The local NBC affiliate, WKYC-TV, currently owned and operated by Gannett Broadcasting (was an NBC O&O until 1990), does have a subchannel (3.2), but it is local weather radar.

Perhaps NBC is only allowing its owned and operated stations to carry COZI at this time -- I'm not sure. Or it could be due to copyright and/or duplication rules, as MeTV and Antenna TV carry many of the shows Cozi TV has; if the local station carried the subchannel, the local cable system (Time Warner) would have to drop one or the other if either or both channels carried shows already offered on Cozi TV.

Oh, well. Doesn't bother me a bit. I can always get my favorite classic TV shows on DVD from Netflix and/or my personal DVD collection, not to mention on Antenna TV and MeTV. I've been watching Kojak every weeknight at 12:30 a.m., and Remington Steele, both in reruns, of course, at 8 p.m. on the latter channel (I like detective shows; used to watch Kojak every week on CBS in the '70s and am just now getting interested in Remington Steele, which I did not watch regularly during its network run on NBC in the mid-1980s).

I never got into Remington Steele myself, back in the 80s, but after watching a couple episodes I found I really like it. My wife has been ribbing me about it. We watched a couple episodes of Lassie on MeTV, guess it was Sunday, first time I'd ever seen the show. Not much dialogue in those, for sure!

Anyone else in the DFW area served by KXAS-5? Not only do neither of my Zenith boxes receive 5.2 "No Signal" my S0NY TV's tuner received it as Audio Only, no video, as though it is an audio only service.

Station reply was, re-scan, and contact the manufacturer of your set if that doesn't fix it. Yeah, right.

Just checked a Zenith box in Chicago, and it's OK. If you have two brands of sets not working right, it has to be the signal.

Likely some of their tables are in conflict with each other.

The point is to email the link to the station and tell them to consult their equipment supplier to help get things set up correctly.

Ed, I verified last night and I'm getting COZI with no issues with my Digital Stream box.

I reckon I should have updated. KXAS fixed the problem viewers like me were having the day after Christmas. One of the station engineers emailed me that they "made some changes". All-OK now. Seems some S0NY, and LG-TVs, boxes from Zenith, Channel Master that I know of, were having problems. All fixed now.
