I was looking for an RCA CC 320 Camcorder for a long time now.
I have found it on e on ebay and purchased it.
Eight Days later I have it delivered. Fully wrapped up in a carton.
The RCA CC320 has more Bells and Whistles than compared to RCA CC 310 camcorder
So, Here are the pic (ebay)

We used to sneak big camcorders like that into concerts back in the 80's. Incredible how many times we got away with it.

And meanwhile I still have my 310...I don't use it because I don't have any working batteries for it, and replacements are $30 each.
Good luck with that Vivitar lens. It couldn't focus properly if its life depended on it.

Yes, I have Tried the CC320 Camcorder BUT It have an issue - Drive Belt.
It does not fast forward rewind or play. The tape spills in the compartment.
Soon, I will have to have a look at it sometimes this January.

Good luck. I remember I had one of the 1st VHS-C camcorders, I opened it up to have a look-see, & remember thinking,"How DO they put all these teeny-tiny parts in there, & get all of 'em to work properly ?!?" And this was in 1984-85, LONG before Good Ol' Unca Arthur-Itis had set up shop in my hands...

Last month, I have took a good look at the CC-320 and IT WAS THE BELT!
the belt was molten beause the camcorder must have been seen hot days.
I cleaned up the camcorder and repaired it and got some pictures.
It is working pretty good.
Cheers!!!!
