Looks like a CTC40 solid state (except for the HV rectifier tube) color TV from around 1970. The CTC40 was the first mass produced solid state RCA color set and was introduced in late-'68 and was replaced by the CTC44 sometime around late-'70. The CTC44 is similar to a 40, except that the 44 uses a different flyback and an HV tripler. There's a slight chance that this one is a 44; but, I'm sure it's a 40. Either way, I'd try to save it and I think the 44 is actually harder to find than the 40 because the 44 was only around for one model year and was replaced by the upright XL100 chassis.

So your saying that for 30 I should get it?

Well, I'd try to get it cheaper; but, if they wouldn't do any better, I'd probably take it.

Is this one of the sets with the slide power switches?

It has that big lever above the channel selector knob. Up for on, down for off.
