Anyone else watch this show?

I started to a couple months back but didn't make it through the first episode, kind of dull I thought but maybe I'll check it out later.

Fast forward to last Friday when I ran in to a friend and he asked me if I was watching it, no I said, he replied that maybe I should so I went ahead and finished that first episode, now I'm up to the third episode of the second season, it's that good.

It's really just a Period Soap Opera but a damn good one, all about a family of aristocrats and their servants.

Unlike what you might usually happen, the rich family is not a bunch of callous snobs and the servants aren't all noble and suffering their lot in life, instead there are many complex personalities and plenty of character development, compelling to watch and see what happens next!

Dame Maggie Smith is awesome as the Dowager Countess of Grantham, she can dish out brilliantly biting dialog like no one else. :yes:

If you want something intelligent and entertaining to watch this is it.
