I'm curious to what this tv is work. I know someone that has it for sale asking around $200.00 for it. Not sure if it works or not. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The TV is barely 60 years old, if that. The fold-out record player makes it more interesting but not much more valuable. It's in good shape from what I can tell, but pictures of the side and back (i.e. to see if it has one) would be helpful in determining condition. I can tell you this much: not $200, no way. Something approaching half that on its very best day, but likely topping out around $50 on any other day. A known good CRT is the only thing likely to guarantee top dollar.

You mean it's not a " beam of light " pickup. :D

I agree on the value, the price is stuck in the basement on sets like this. $50 would be plenty, and that is high. These are good sets to restore, easy to work on (in my opinion).
