Does anyone know why this camera has two settings for vertical deflection?

One says 'normal' and one says 'film'. The next control to the left says 'film centering'.

Wild guess - because the camera would be pointed into the projector, the image would be mirror reversed, and perhaps upside down? Might this be a vertical reversal switch?

It sold for $5500.
