View Full Version : Unknown Console TV ID? mrflex65 08-14-2012, 12:15 PM Just saw this one on craigs, can anybody id it? Not familiar with this one at all.....:scratch2:http://raleigh.craigslist.org/zip/3204556166.html lnx64 08-14-2012, 12:18 PM No idea, but looks 80's if not early 90's. mrflex65 08-14-2012, 12:26 PM I'm thinking that too,but the cab looks older than the tv itself? Weird....:scratch2: truetone36 08-14-2012, 12:41 PM It looks like a mid-80's G.E. Command Performance Series set. I have a 25" table set with that same control layout on top. Phototone 08-14-2012, 01:35 PM I think it is RCA sourced, but they made private label sets for the likes of stores like J.C. Penny. freakaftr8 08-14-2012, 03:07 PM Whoa! Now thats an odd one! radiotvnut 08-14-2012, 03:32 PM It's either a PM chassis GE or a CTC130 RCA/GE from the early Thomson era. mrflex65 08-14-2012, 04:00 PM It's interesting how the cab looks like it's from a '60's or '70's era set, especially the grille cloth.... :dunno: dieseljeep 08-14-2012, 08:18 PM I worked on a set like that. It was a J.C. Penney set built by Goldstar. It had a tuner-IF module that was NLA. I told the customer to use the VCR as a tuner. kx250rider 08-15-2012, 12:18 PM I think it is RCA sourced, but they made private label sets for the likes of stores like J.C. Penny. AGREED. Probably an RCA ColorTrak 2000 clone (early 1980s; CTC-121 or so) Charles |
