Just saw this set on my local craigslist.Looks like a good deal, but don't have the funds to pick it up. Anybody else here from VK locally that might be interested?:scratch2:http://raleigh.craigslist.org/ele/3197508801.html

Well, it's finally home!:D Except for a small crack on the back cover, it's in excellent shape. The original owner misplaced the euro av patch cord but said he would call me if he finds it. I wonder if they sell replacements here.:scratch2: For me,was it worth $45? I think so....

Here are a couple of cable sources:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/360431809172

I am not affiliated with either of them.

I have two Grundigs. They're both identical, strictly NTSC.
Have also have a few multi-standard sets, I picked though the years. It's kind of strange to see Cyrillic and Arabic on screen displays.
What a hobby! :thmbsp:

As far as i can tell, this set doesn't have OSD. It doesn't even mention it in the user manual. No date of manufacture either....:scratch2: I ordered the euro av adapter off of ebay and should be next week.....

Yes you're correct. Multistandard sets are popular in northern Italy because we can receive the french broadcastings in SECAM. Several years ago I had a Monoltith with multistandard chassis, a real monster with 4 speakers - I sold it at one brazilian guy. Now he can receive broadcastings from all South America.

I bought one of my sets on Ebay. The shipping label on the box shows it came from some firm in Saudi Arabia. It's a 15" Samsung multi-standard.
