I FINALLY got a coax-cable system signal to my beloved 1950 Zenith Porthole...And it makes a reasonably decent picture... I kinda wonder though, what it would be like if I could feed it a "1950" style TV signal...W/o all the digital "Hash", chroma signal, data, etc, etc, that wasn't even thought of in good ol' 1950..

Sandy,
Hook a DVD players "Y" component(normally the green connector) out to a RF modulator and BINGO no color subcarrier Audio connects to the modulator normally.

Maybe we should include the inside of Mammoth Cave with the lights out, or watching a ventriloquist on the radio-- c'mon, we need pix!
