too many Zeniths!! (lol) bored and pulling out some sets.
They are:
1975 23" Chromacolor 2
1972 19" Chromacolor 4-tube hybrid (by far the best picture on any set I own)
1977 9" B&W
1990 13" Space Command (which is the "newest" Zenith I own)

I have two of those 19DC11 and 19DC12, both with the original tubes and good CRTs. If you ever come down this way, stop by and one can be yours. You must bring a pre-64 set to trade for it tho....:D

Thanks DavG.... I'll keep it in mind.... Neighbor sent over a 17" Sony today, he got a new flat tv.... My 4 tube hybrid did have the wood trim, I got it from the rca dealer when I was in college and repairing and selling trade in tv's for pizza & book money. So I fixed it and watched it for a while before selling it. It had such a good picture I almost kept it....
Got one of those portholes in the spare room I designated as "the basement" the house has no actual basement, so I made one up....

Trust me on this, A clean, working Porthole will get more compliments & "Wow!s" than almost ANY other of yr sets, except a good, working Roundie...People LOVE their looks, their age, & the fact they are about 180 degrees different than the ugly grey-black plastic box that sets in the corner, or even worse, hangs on the wall...Kids, especially, flip out over 'em..

One can never have too many Zeniths. Here's my lineup:
3 color roundies, all restored.
1 rectangular color (12A12C52 with remote)
2 17" post porthole rectangular (restored)
1 21" tabletop restored
1 21" console. restored but has vertical issues.
1 17" console, with top mounted fly. unrestored. cabinet needs serious work.
1 17" bugeye. has boost issue. otherwise OK.
1 rectangular color combo. restored. will need variac start since I have not fired it up since 2009.
I think I need a few more Zeniths. I am saving a 12LP4 and 16GP4 for that elusive porthole.

Portholes are so neat looking, they never saw a curb. I never saw one out in my 35 years of lookin' anyway.
There HAS to be one in a dusty antique shop somewhere.....I'm looking when I can, but all these places in PA seem to have everything BUT electronics and when they do its way overpriced.
BTW my Zenith TV Count is 7 and climbing

What a great set of sets! And they all look in showroom condition. I'm very impressed.
