Hello, I have an old vintage 1970's Zenith chromacolor TV, but the adapter broke off.
It was a female to female adapter, I think...

Which adapter would work on this ? (see pics)

It was a female F jack designed to be installed on the end of a cable, rather than being mounted in a panel. A direct replacement might be a bit tricky to find, but you could always install a standard male end on the cable, and add a F-F barrel connector to replace the original.

The missing piece accomplished what you pictured in post #4, basically a crimp-on female "F" connector. If the first item in post #5 is a twist-on F plug, then yes, that with the double-female adapter in the second picture would do the job, as N2IXK said.
