I found this today at an e-waste facility I visit every week. It's and RCA with mid 1969 date codes on it. It has CTP13A printed on it (not sure since it looks like it was stamped more than once). The 1 is not very clear, and the 3 could be a 7 or 2. Any idea what chassis it would have gone to?

Sams shows a CTP12a which is used in a CTC28. It could have been used in the CTC40, which was RCA's first solid state set. With all those relays on it, it had a lot of functions.

There isn't that many of the CTC28's around. It was a very pricey model at the time.
IIRC, it had a separate indicator lamp for each channel. Of the two I worked on, neither was a remote. To locate all the motors and special parts would be an extreme undertaking.

I guess it would depend on what other parts could be found. I would need a complete remote tuner assembly from a parted out set. Of course I would much rather find a complete remote set with any chassis, but they're hard to find. I've never even seen an RCA remote set in person (although I do have several remote controls).

I replaced the CRT in a remote CTC31,which was a lower end model at the time. I don't remember how many functions were on it. The remote transmitter was a transistorized ultra-sonic one. I had to send it to PTS for repairs, as a new one was NLA.

I had a CTC21 (another rarely seen expensive one)and it had a remote chassis, CRT and escutcheon that had lots of functions, including color and tint motors.
I never had the transmitter, so I did not try to make it work. It was removed from a combo that our shop refitted with a "new RCA 25" in 1981. I fitted the whole works into another cabinet and we used on a cable box, so there was little need for remote functions.

Maybe one of my RCA color service manuals by Carl Babcoke mentions it.

See the attached schematic.
This is probably similar to most RCA remotes using the 7-button transmitter.
