ah ha is this it, ok everyone climb on this thread post anything you want on it . i never really played on the computer alot but i was taking them apart back 93 when they were slow as melasis 486 processor were pop. i learned how to take them apart work with cmoss format hard drives, but was board with the rest of it . its a lang. barer problem i ask my son what the hell a thread was or whats ment buy time line stuff like that. i fixed a computer yesterday for my son, he was working on for a freind he gave up on ,he said start up and turn off i looked at the mother board and it had 4 baldging caps. he didnt think that was the problem ,i tested the power supply it s no longer dc but ac to the board thats what hurt the caps i guess replaced caps & powersupply now dads not so dumb.

What I need to know as long as we're on the subject is HOW you can post big pictures IN the thread, rather than the thumbnails or file attach labels.

I respect the fact that large files cause trouble but some posts are so much nicer when a big picture fills the screen and all the viewer needs to do is scroll. This method probably is especially nice when using handheld devices.

The picture needs to be hosted on another website.

To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing before the URL and after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert pictures from your albums (?) in this way too.

But I'm not sure why this is posted in the Early B&W and Projection TV forum?
