I went exploring an old abandoned factory just before it was demolished and saved this scope :) It's a Tektronix 531 from 1953. It's the first model to use plug-ins I believe.

The power cord is missing, but I was able to rig something up and turn it on. It actually seems to work fine except the fan doesn't work. I was told not to run it for any length of time without the fan.
I haven't decided what to do with it yet. Is it work restoring ?
I also know where I can get a Type 545B with cart for only $25. I really don't have room on the workbench for these monsters, but they are cool :)
