i have one of these that was left at the back door of our shop 3 or 4 years ago along with the zenith wedge allegro stereo sitting on top of the set. guess what was wrong wit both of them. not a damn thing cleaned the tuner and controls on the old chromocolor and it still works fine. how collectible are these going to be. thinking of bringing the old set home it is in the dark wood cabinet with the 2 huge fake drawers at the bottom. it is still at the tv shop where i work. the allegro stereo is here with me. steve it is a 25" 25ec58

Nice Saves! I have a Zenith Wedge. If you have the Allegro 3000 speakers with it, the sound is amazing. My mom bought it new in 1977, and IIRC, it was around 549.00. I think they bring decent money now, especially if you have the speakers.

I don't know how collectible those TV's will ever be; but, I can tell you that they are great TV's that are very well built. I have one that needs a tripler that I wish to fix one day.

Everyone regards that chassis as the best one Zenith built.
There should be a lot of those triplers around.
