I have an old Dressen-Barnes bench power supply I'd like to sell. It puts out two dc voltages. One is adjustable from 0-500 Volts at up to 300 mA. The other is adjustable from 0-300V at 200 mA. It includes two large meters (one has a cracked glass) and also puts out a variable 4-8V ac at, I think. 10A.
The two high voltages are isolated and can be put in series to get up to 800V so it's very usable to run a boat anchor transmitter. Regulation is very tight, I think about 0.1% but not sure.
This is rack mounted, and big and heavy. It works well and has a variac as well as a half dozen pass tubes (6BG6). I have the manual or at least the schematic. I don't want to ship it; I live near Los Angeles.
Any interest?
