G'day all.

I have been going through the RCA Broadcast News mags on this site http://www.americanradiohistory.com/RCA-Broadcast-News-Page-Range-Guide.htm and in issue 112 from December 1961 http://www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-RCA-Broadcast-News/RCA-BC-112-1961-Dec.pdf I found an EXCELLENT 8 page article with pictures on RCA broadcast equipment used at Australian TV station QTQ-9 located Brisbane, Queensland featuring all RCA equipment from the TV cameras to the support gear right to the OB vans! :D

QTQ-9 went to air on 16th August 1959 and was one of a number of stations in Australia that purchased RCA broadcast TV gear and QTQ-9 was outfitted with three RCA TK-31 IO cameras in Studio B, a remote operated RCA TK-21 vidicon camera in Studio C and four TK-31B IO cameras for remote coverage!

Anyways for those interested in QTQ-9's history, Aussie TV history or RCA cameras used overseas, this article is well worth the read!:)

Thanks to this article I will soon be adding more details to my camera list page in the QTQ-9 section http://www.troysvintagevideo.741.com/cameralist.html .

Lastly I've attached some images of QTQ-9's TK-31s which I've sourced from various sites, videos and magazines.

..featuring all RCA equipment from the TV cameras to the support gear ...

Their transmitter (Ca, mid 50s design) at this RCA operation had trouble making spec - and decent picture for color - (like most high-level modulation designs) -- Yet must have been designed with NTSC in mind ? , modification to broader 7mhz chnl augmented problems.
