Not to bad for $65. Good 12LP4, cabinet is in pretty nice shape. It was in a nice dry attic. Seems to be very unmolested and should clean up nicely. Crummy photo off of craigslisting. Not particularly unusual or exciting, but at least it has been rescued from the fishtankers

Yes veneer is excellent and there are only a few small scratches. Grill cloth is also nice and there is no rust on the chassis because it was stored in a nice dry attic. The rubber boot on the back where the deflection yoke centering arm sticks through is melted/rotted away, but otherwise it is pretty nice and should clean up nicely. I think I have the correct knob for the one that is missing in my hoard of thousands of knobs. All I need to do is sift through the pile to find it.

Bob, the model is a 12K3, I think the difference is a slight variation of the cabinet.

Will try to get some better photos in a couple days.

I like it. Being from Wisconsin I'm really surprised that it held up so well in the attic. At least around here, most attics are subject to the same humidity and tempt swings as outdoors.

Let us never forget that the saving of a good 12LP4 was worth the price alone! Nice set and I look forward to seeing that first picture on it!

The older homes with attics were an excellent place to store items. They seldom got colder than 40 deg. F during the winter and hotter than 90 deg. in the summer. Most people opened the windows during the summer to keep the attic cooler.:yes:
