Another of these technical curiosities just showed up on e-Bay in the form of a Sony VidiMagic 60, the model with a built in BetaMax VCR player.

For new to Indextron VK members, the VidiMagic series used a single gun/single CRT in a low power compact series of projectors. Came in 2 flavors: with and without Betamax player.

Complete ensemble, including screen and apparently everything works with proof-of-pudding snapshot of video on the screen.

Note: Avon gift to the salesgirl of the quarter, Wow! i wish companies i've worked for gave lavish perks like that, we got an endless collection of wooden plaques with our name on it...

Impressive! I guess if she was working with a lot of other Avon reps under her this could have been used for sales presentations. Kind of an odd prize, otherwise.
