I'd be mildly interested in an RCA CTC101 set. Had one back in the day, and loved it, until the flyback blew...

I like some of the 9"-19" color sets from the early-to-mid '80's. Especially the better sets from Zenith, Magnavox, RCA, Sylvania, Sony, Toshiba, etc. I also like B&W sets from that era. My collecting interest ends when the cabinets started to turn into square black cubes with the controls under the CRT. I'm not really into consoles from the '80's, unless it's one of those rare "last gasp" B&W consoles from the early '80's. My only interest in later BPC and SPC sets are for resell purposes. And, the days of reselling such sets are almost over. Right now, I have 3 perfectly good 27" SPC cRT sets that are under 10 years old. Can't find a buyer; so, they may get the hammer to the neck before much longer.

folks these are just the spare crt's.
just trying to see if someone wanted them before i trash the rest of them.
i started busting them up to save room in the can a while back thinking since you can hardly give the sets away working that the crt's themselves were just toxic waste.

I see.
In that case, any 19VMLP22?

I need to move these 80's workhorses out of my shop.
The RCA probably had the in-warranty flyback upgrade.
The Zenith is an '83 Hotel set and uses a ultrasonic remote (one of the last)
Found them at the curb. We have local recycle center they will go to unless
somebody shows interest. I live in Lancaster PA and work in Harrisburg.

Since no delta or round tubes probably not worth saving unless you are foftunate enough to
have a barn to store them in. Maybe 25v series and if you have any Trinitron crts.

That last gasp ultrasonic Zenith should be saved IMHO.

The RCA should be too. We're gonna be looking for these one day. Mark my words.

I have the delta gun version of that RCA (from '79) and that Zenith must have come out of a classy hotel, to have been a remote set from '83. I don't recall ever seeing a remote set in a hotel until the early '90's.

Any TV with knobs is definitely worth saving, even if it's from the 1980's. Really any set made before the late-1980's interests me.

Being the national page of interest in this hobby, I appreciate the responses. I will need to keep these for no other reason but "they work". Fortunately, my barn has cubby-holes. It's remembering what's buried that is hard... DavGoodlin
