Looks like this Motorola may also be going to the chop shop. Hopefully someone will get a good 12LP4 out of the deal.

[Edit] I just noticed there is a speaker handle on the right side, and what looks like a homemade tube audio amp installed in that TV cabinet. :nono:

That used to be a Motorola 12K1. It looks like someone tuned the cabinet in to a crappy homebrew stereo :tears:

Sad, but at least the cabinet still holds tube electronics.
On a funny note, your thread title "another one bites the dust" is missing the needed "Bump Bump Bump" prefix, and the "(repeat a zillion times)" postfix/warning IMHO.

I contacted the seller. He tells me this TV is now his guitar amp, and that he regularly gigs with it. Says he loves having it on stage with him. :cool:

If only this guy was shipping internationally to Australia and I had a good amount of cash, I could really use a 12LP4 for my Andrea VJ12 set http://www.troysvintagevideo.741.com/andrea.html . But all good, it's gonna be a little while before I get cracking on that project as I'm currently doing project "Eliminate Clutter" clearing out stuff from my house and making space.
