Looks to be in great shape.

I wonder how that 21FJP22 escaped getting a cataract? :scratch2:

It doesn't appear to have a safety glass, perhaps it's a newer rebuilt with a safety strap installed?

SOMEBODY oughta be all over that set....The guy sounds like he knows what he's talkin' about, unlike 98% of these wahoos...And Maggie roundies are kinda rare....

looks a lot like my maggie, but for the bumped out CRT and the fly on the right side of the chassis.

About 20 miles away. If my back didn't kill me after moving it, my wife would. Seriously, if anyone is interested I could pick it up and hold it for a short period of time. Contact me at [email protected] subject: Magnavox.

Possibly someone has simply removed the safety glass.

Probably a more likely scenario.

Some CRT's had a non bonded safety glass. The type with the rubber seal instead of PVA. My Admiral has that type. Will never get cataracts just nasty oil at the bottom.

That would be the 21FBP22, FJP is bonded.

Two weeks ago I just drove to Chicago, then to mobile Alabama. Had this been up then I could have routed my trip through st. Louis. I do like it though so we will see.

I already have 4 roundies from 63 to 66. I think this one is a 63 or 64 model. Now if it were one of the 50's sets the road trip would already be in the works.
