I wonder if there is a cover missing? Adjusting either the focus coil or yoke on this set could give you quite a sensation if you're not careful. You've got your choice of either the top cap of the horizontal output, the doorknob, or the nice big loop around the base of the 1B3 if you're looking for thrills. :smoke:

There originally was a little fiberboard sort of thingy over the high voltage section. They are often AWOL.
